The project concept is 'a journey of discovery' for the customer to realise a dining experience, unlike any other hotel. To enjoy being part of a food experience, into the kitchen as you would in a home with friends and family. The main focus is on the event of cooking. Guests walk along a less obvious boulevard, a deconstructed path/street that guides and allows them to explore
The contemporary design is unique and has its core roots set in Oman. In the regional landscapes, textures, colours and accents of heritage. The various cooking stations determine their functionality by their independent size and shape and organic integration with the overall design.
Following the path, guests discover the 4 stage food stations. They flow around the Mediterranean, European cooking focusing on the Josper oven, moving around to the lively Eastern Asia stations in which a private dining area links.
Central to the path is the Persian and Arabian stations with the theatre of the Fire, Grill and Flat Stone and its carved stations and displays.
As you follow the path, you are led to the final focal point of the Sweets/Desserts/Patisserie linked to the Deli.
The design has a synergy with an earthy neutral palette and contrasting accent colours. Strong textures in finishes and fabrics continue to add a visual layer to the exploration and discovery.
